P-63 Aircraft - And a Bell P-63 Kingcobra—lost in a mid-air collision during the wing during Saturday's Dallas Airshow.
As of Saturday afternoon, officials had not yet released the condition of the plane's pilot and crew.

The accident happened around 1:20 p.m. Saturday is during Wings Over Dallas, the annual three-day air show at Dallas Executive Airport (KRBD), which features planes from World War II.

Footage of the incident shows the P-63 hitting the B-17 as it turns. The bomber's nose exploded "and the plane's wings caught fire when it hit the ground," the paper said.
The footage is heartbreaking," Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson said in a message on social media. "Please pray for the spirits who took to heaven today to entertain and educate our family.

After the incident, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) took command of the crash scene as the Dallas Police Department and Dallas Fire Department responded, Johnson said.

"It is unknown at this time how many people were on board either aircraft," the FAA said in a statement after the crash. CNN reported.
